In regular training, the trainee usually repeats a movement that is known in advance.
In REACT CRT, the action is selected according to a changing stimulus. The goal is not only to perform a movement correctly. The goal is to choose and perform the correct response to the situation.

The main principle is to prepare people for situations that are not known in advance.
In sport and everyday life, it is not enough to know how to perform an action. A person must also recognize when to perform it, in which direction, with what level of force and in response to which information.
4. Why is it important that the trainee does not know the next action in advance?
When the action is known in advance, the trainee mainly practises physical execution.
When the stimulus changes and cannot be predicted, the trainee must receive information, understand it, choose a response and perform it.
This creates training that is closer to the real demands of sport, movement and everyday life.
5. What response process does the method train?
The response process includes receiving a stimulus, recognizing it, understanding its meaning, choosing an action and performing it.
REACT CRT trains the complete process and not only the final movement.
6. Is a fast response always a good response?
No.
A fast response that does not match the stimulus is an error.
The goal is to develop a correct, accurate and efficient response in the shortest suitable time. Understanding and accuracy should come before speed.
7. What is the difference between a fixed exercise and a reactive exercise?
In a fixed exercise, the trainee knows what to do and in what order.
In a reactive exercise, the order changes according to the stimuli.
Almost any exercise can become Cognitive Reaction Training when the next decision is not known in advance.
8. What is the main goal of REACT CRT?
The main goal is to improve the ability to act correctly in a changing world.
The trainee learns not only how to perform an action, but also when to perform it, which action to choose and how to complete it with control and accuracy.
9. How does a REACT CRT training session work?
The app displays changing letters, numbers, colors, arrows, symbols or instructions.
Each stimulus is connected to a specific action. The trainee must recognize the stimulus, understand its meaning and perform the correct response.
10. What are instructive, suggestive and symbolic signs?
Instructive signs directly show the required action. For example, an arrow pointing right tells the trainee to move right.
Suggestive signs provide a clue. For example, the letter S can suggest SHOOT.
Symbolic signs have no natural connection to the action. Their meaning is defined before the exercise and must be remembered during training.
11. How does the app screen improve decision making?
The screen presents unexpected visual information. The trainee must see the stimulus, process it, select the correct response and act quickly.
This trains the full decision process rather than only the final movement.
12. Where should the screen be placed?
The screen should be placed according to the goal of the exercise.
It can be positioned at eye level to encourage a head up position and visual scanning, on a wall to support movement or near the floor for exercises that require attention to the surrounding space.
13. Can the same signs represent different actions?
Yes.
The same letter, number, color or symbol can represent a different action in each exercise.
For example, the letter A can represent a pass, a side step, a hand movement or movement toward a specific target.
14. Why should the meaning of the signs change?
Changing the meaning prevents the trainee from responding only through habit.
The trainee must learn a new rule, remember it and apply it quickly. This develops mental flexibility, memory and decision making.
15. Can the app be used while performing another task?
Yes.
The trainee can dribble, walk, balance, lift a weight or perform a sport specific skill while responding to the screen.
This develops divided attention and the ability to make decisions while moving.

17. Is any additional equipment required?
No. You can begin training with only your phone and the REACT CRT app.

25. What is the role of the coach?

The trainee can move toward a magnet, touch it with a hand or foot, move around it, change direction beside it, pass toward it or perform another assigned action. The meaning of each magnet can change from one exercise to another.
42. How can instructive, suggestive and symbolic signs be used with the kit?
An instructive sign directly shows the required magnet or movement. A suggestive sign gives a clue that the trainee must understand.
